For more detailed information consult the lessons. There are at least 20 mistakes in the letter below. Dear Ann, Not be angry with me for my long silence, but really I were too busy to write.

As you know, I was leaving school in June and must prepare for my entrance exams to the Institute. My parents say that teaching the children was the noble thing. So I decide to become a teacher. I must take four exams and passed all of them on excellent marks.

Now I am the first – year student from the Teachers’ Training Institute. My main subject is English. But I work hardly to make a good progress in different subjects. Our English teacher say if we want to know English well we must practice a lot.

There is a good language laboratory at our faculty. So I work here at my pronunciation now. I thought it will help me to get rid of my mistakes in the shorter possible time.

Last month I have received a letter from my better friend Marry. She live in England and she wrote me that we can meet very soon. She hope that she would be able to got an invitation to England for me. I look forward to my first visit to the London.

If I shall have a chance I shall send you a cards with the sights of London. My best regards to your parents. I didn’t see them for ages.
